Seat Ibiza Headlight Washer [MOD 2000]

Hi...
Like many others, my ibiza [2000 model] didn't came with the headlight washer system... (I haven't ever even seen this system installed in a ibiza of my model).

Today I was making a Search by the forum and I found out a topic that refers this system...

And my question are...

After I install all the harware, where is the pump for the headlight washer conneted?

Anyone tried to do this installtion in a ibiza with a stock bumper? I think the difference os the holes, that hopefully can be done.

Can anyone show me a pic of an ibiza with this system installed??

I haven't installed a headlight washer system but have installed an intercooler waterspray to my 2002 cupra.

The washer bottle on mine already had another space moulded into it for another pump. It sits next to the orginal washer pump. All I did was drilled out the blanking plate and got a washer motor from a scrap golf. It fitted perfectly. I guess you could do the same!

I have seen the space for the pump in the washer bottle, but the thing I cant figure out is where the power of the pump is connected.

For all I know, the headlight washer works when you use the windshield washer, but only if the headlights are ON. In the fuse box is the fuse for the pump so it seems that the system is "pre-installed"...

may take a bit digging

take the fuse out and try the washers as they are

you may find that the fuse is for +ve supply and is -ve signal operated ?

and also the possibility that the hl/wash fuse is also used for another facility

Does anyone have a pic of an Ibiza/Cordoba mk3 with headlight washers?

I may want to install headlight washers, but i think it may look dorcky because the caps are on top of the front bumper strip I guess....
