Hi there

Happy buyer of a ibiza 1.2 tsi !

It's my first ever petrol car was driving only diesel car till now
went for a petrol one as i won't be doing too much motorway after reading all the problem with the dpf etc

I bought the car but there was no manual with it

Can somebody kindly write me down

The interval i should respect for this petrol car
after how many miles what to change etc as i have zero knowledge for petrol cars

Thanks in advance

Servicing is every 10,000 miles or 12 months usually with Seat.

I don't know about the cambelt and water pump as I have a diesel and I know those are different.

The 1.2 TSI has a cam chain. There's some debate over the replacement of these, as there were some issues with certain years of manufacture.

I'd be tempted to ask your local Seat dealer as they'll be able to give you better recommendations, and possibly even check the history of the vehicle.

Thanks a lot for your posts

I will surely call seat about the timing belt even though the car has only 7k miles for the moment

Thanks again
