Seat Ibiza 1.2 Reference

Hi there,

i am just about to buy a set of Khan alloy wheels for my seat ibiza mk4 1.2 reference and was wondering if anyone would know if these wheels would fit the car the sizes of the new tyres is ( 225/40/17). the khans im fitting are RSR's.

Any help would be appreciated.

225 seems wide my fr tdi mk4.5 are 205/40/r17 i think.

they'l rub on the front on the inner plastic arch's


My comps had 225/45's and they rubbed like fook.

Do you think its worth buying them? What will happen if they start rubbin?

damage the tires and the wheel arch possibly rip off the plastic protectors around the bumper! Think they are leon size wheels so yeah they will rub so dont buy em unless you can afford to change the tires around em!

the wheels im looking at buying have came of a Volkswagen Bora. Dunno what to do now.

dont buy em aint worth it as the bora is a much larger car!

just re confirmed the tyre size with them they are 225/45/17 not 40

just keep looking in the for sale section or maybe post it in the wanted section.

or Ebay those three would be the cheapest option.

I wanted a set of cupra rims off a mk4 (still looking)...just got to wait really.
