Jus dropped my brother off, and as he was gettin his bags off the back seats, he pulled the handle off! he can be very clumsy in this sense! is this handle supposed to come off easily (ie a cheap and nasty fitting) or has he broken this handle? any help would be appreciated, thanks!

ps its an 06 ibiza fr tdi (3 door)!

under the headlining there are metal plates that the handles screw in to with self tapping screws if he has stripped the thread you could try a slightly larger screw. ive changed mine for the black cupra ones and the monutings dont look very strong really

He's on about the seat tilt lever, Gaz ;)

My red PD130 came with no handle, the clips tend to go. They're rather cheap from the dealer, thank god :)

Yup, easy off, easy back on :D Mines done it once or twice... I find the best way of stopping this from happening is to take out your back seats :D

Yep this happens all the time to me. LOL now my mates who ride along regularly are over-gentle when they pull the lever so it dosnt come off!

I've glued my seat handles on with Araldite ahesive. Did it about 12 months ago and so far they've not come off. The passenger one gets used daily and its holding firm.
