My car has recently developed a diesel leak underneath. I've traced it to what seems to be a little pump on the fuel line under the car, just underneath the drivers door. The details on it are : TT Automotive Poland TJ5 10T 320. I've Googled it but didnt get any exact matches. There's a small leak in the body of the pump. I'm not sure of the purpose of this pump, pre-supply ? Anyway I've found a site that has 6 or 7 pumps that look the same all with similar specs, i.e 12V 5bar 140L/min but the prices vary from £60 to £300. My question is, can I just use the cheaper pump, as there is only 2 wire supply there is nothing fancy like pressure monitoring etc. Anyone know anything about this little pump ?
