Many aftermarket seat covers are likely to be a generic design rather than tailored specifically to the seats in the FR. Therefore, IMHO they may not be a particularly good fit, and having a set of tailored covers made to order by a specialist car upholstery company would probably be quite expensive. I’ve seen some supposedly tailored car seat covers for sale on the likes of eBay that look akin to a bin bag slipped over the seats (made of a slippery looking material that’s loose and baggy). With tailored, made to order covers, the company making them may need your car for a day or more to take the necessary measurements, so if you depend on using your car on a daily basis, the option of getting tailored covers made might not work for you.
With any seat covers, always ensure they’re air bag friendly so deployment of the the seat airbags isn’t hindered or prevented.
If you’re mainly concerned with protecting against spillages etc. you could consider a fabric protector as an alternative. It‘d be much cheaper than seat covers and you’d also get to enjoy your seats, rather than covering them up for the benefit of subsequent owners of your car.
