seat cd player in leon fr tdi

i have recently replaced my seat cd player with a new clarion one. My question is, i intend to sell the seat one but do u need the code for it to be played in a different car or will it go straight in and play?

When i bought my FR last week, the radio needed the code reset. It wasnt in the manual so I had to give my SEAT dealer the Serial number and they phoned me back with the code. Just get the code to the new owner....

They go for good money on ebay, i sold mine last month
