Got my Leon FR TDI from Colliers Seat in Birmingham 6 weeks ago... but not until I'd had the normal problems with a specific salesperson, who not suprisingly has been sacked since... (not related to my sale I might add!!)
I was promised the car in the showroom, a good discount, and a healthy px for my LHD Audi TT.. and on the back of this I signed the forms and left the deposit. A while later, the same dealer called me and told me that his dealer had not realised the audi was LHD, and then knocked £2000 off the value of the px !!! I argued that it had been done and signed, but they hadnt signed anything, just me. Eventually got the price back to only 700 less than the original price, and got a slightly bigger discount. I was then promised the car on a specific day as I had a cherished plate transfer going through too.
I heard nothing from the salesman again, even though he had promised to call, and the next thing I heard was from my finance company asking why the VIN had been changed on the agreement! I had no idea, but the dealers told me that I had been sold a car that had already been sold!!!! My new one would take 2 weeks longer, and the original salesman had vanished and noone knew where he was, leaving all of his customers in the lurch.
I was close to cancelling the whole deal, but didnt (thankfully, as I love the FR).
The other staff at the dealers were very good and extremely helpful... (shame I picked Nabeel)... the handover was good and the car is great.
Just thought I'd share this, just in case Nabeel turns up at another dealers !!!!!
