Seat Arosa Engine transplant

Hi guys im new to this currently driving a 1.0 red arosa onn a 53 plate just bought a set of wolfrace euro sport 16 inch alloys black and chrome sets the car off nicely!

Im after advise on what bigger engine i can put in my arosa with littlest work possible, i was thinking of a cupra engione is this possible if not what do u suggest ?

Not 100% shuer but a dont think there is to mutch work puttin a POLO GTI 1.6 16v engine in it.

hi steve cheers for that advice on the polo gti, can you list here the itemns id need to go alonge with the engine?
would i need to change drive shafts ? clutch lay out ? asin cable clutch or hydralic?
any thing you can think of il need will be great my mate is goin to fit it hes been in the army for 5 years fixing landrovers and tanks itl be childs play for him lol
