It's a Seat one.

What do you mean when you say loads of settings? I think all mine does it flip up and down. It's just a bit difficult changing gear while the arm rest is down, take it no one has the same problem?

It should have two positions once folded down, horizontal (parallel to the floor) and a second position, pointing down a bit more (towards the ash tray! (hold in the button on the end below the lid and try to move it further down).

Lazy goit.... if you want the arm-rest down while you are driving ... buy a flat cap, a pipe, a tartan rug for the back shelf and an automatic ;)

Cheers guys.....just sussed the slight diagonal position and it's spot on!

The arm rest is perfect for my iPod.....the lead come up into the armrest tray so I can put it in there rather than the glove compartment
