SEAT accessories - FR leather seats

was just browsing the seat accessories site like u do and some new items have appeared.

FR leather seats are now an accessory:

only downside is it costs £1350/1500..ouch!!!

im hoping i get the MY08 seat in my car when it comes it was built in september

yep they do look just like normal FR seats. i noticed that they dont offer them in the Cupra style seats (which are what the MY08 are supposed to be based on) only for the FR

if only i had more money than sense..

I think Jennings had a demonstrator with Leather in, only theirs was done by some comany in..Northallerton I think... Looked and felt really nice, great quality. Wish I knew which that company was. (They already have the FR seats pattern)

Take the pic to Transcal in Livingston and they will do it far cheaper than £1500, local skoda & mitsubishi garage take their cust's cars there.

why oh why are seat not doing a leather option for the o7 cupra ?????

it is after all supposed to be the flagship car !!!!!!!!!!!,seat uk seem to be seriously lagging behind when the cupra is concerned.

is there a trim finishers that would be able to recover the existing cupra seats in leather (bedfordshire area)

Hey has anyone actually received a MY08 FR with the cupra style seats? Spoken to a guy at Seat's customer care line and he said that apart from the leather option now on offer, they is no difference between the MY07 and MY08 regarding seats. Is this right guys?

hmm, i was always a little bit dubious about that rumour being true. we shall see when the reports on the latest FR's come in

Those seats look immense! Dors anoyone know roughly what it costs to get an interior retrimmed in leather with a custom logo (e.g. the 'R')? just the seats really, not bothered about door cards.

I've just ordered a new FR with heated seats (yesterday, for delivery in January).
What's the procedure to upgrade these to leather ?
Does anyone know if these are compatible.. and what the lead times are ?
