I tried searching couldnt find anything in relation.

Ok, I'm thinking of getting a Sat nav and mounting it in the center console(middle bottom) where I've seen guage's mounted.

But I'm wanting to make it use my speakers, using the sat nav's headphone jack as an audio out.

Is it just as simple as wiring it into my speakers?

How would this work if i had loud music on?

Would the satnav's audio just be played while my music is on?(this is what i want)

Basically I want to know if its possible and what would happen if it doesnt work, as i dont want to break anything.

(ps. havnt bought sat nav yet)

Surely the manufacturers website would say? Then again theres always trustly Halfords! As far as i know it would either cut the sound off (like if you had a hands-free kit installed) or just dim the music while that sexy computer woman is talkin? Ill see if i can found out when i get home...

Does the sat nav work well down in the cubby hole? As mine has to be in the window so the aerial has a good line of site to the sky.
