Sat Nav Issues

I've posted about this before in a bit of a general rant thread but wanted to post the specifics to see if anyone else had similar issues?

So last night I did a journey about 15 miles from home, all normal, didn't use the sat nav at it's a regular trip. On my way home I got a popup on the dash saying *something like* "no data for this area" with a navigation icon. I checked the sat nav and it showed me driving in a completely blank area (see pic). I then zoomed out, and it was showing me driving parallel to the road I was in but in a field! Now this wasn't a few metres out, it was probably several miles (see pic).
Anyway, I carry on driving the sat nav eventually finds a road, however nowhere near the one I was on. It showed me as being near Rochdale when in fact I was near junction 8 of the m65 (about 20 miles away). I pulled over, restarted the infotainment with a long press of the power button, but after coming back on it was exactly the same. This is probably about 20 minutes after originally happening.

So I get on the motorway now and find that the radar cruise control now won't overtake. It just slows down when there's something in the left lane (nothing in the right) and I have to blip the throttle to get past. This occurred a few times so wasn't a coincidence.

Still doing it when I got home 5 mins later - I haven't been in the car since. I did also noticed that the connection icon in the top right had disappeared.

Sw is 1896, showing no updates.

Not sure the two are related based on what others have found.

It sounds like the GPS antenna is faulty or has disconnected.

Not overtaking when using ACC has been with mine since day 1
Got fed up of waiting for a fix so I coded it out with OBDeleven

Oh wow! These are exactly the issues I had when on 1803 all the time, very frustrating!
Since the dealer update to 1896 in May I've only had glitches on 2 occasions, one where the gps went awol and so was driving in a field about a mile away but this corrected itself about 10 mins later, loss of gps connection I guess? The other was an 'emergency sos, contact your dealer' (or something like that) that happened near Manchester Airport and again disappeared after a few minutes. I'm guessing loss of Internet connection, it's happened in this area before.
For clarity I have the Cupra Connect app and use my android phone via WiFi hotspot to connect the infotainment centre to the ether.
Forgot to say the overtaking issue has been totally resolved.

I got back in the car the day after and it was all working fine and has been since.
I think the overtaking must have been related somehow because I use ACC all the time and this is the first time it has done it. In fact I'd used it on my outward bound journey a couple of hours before and it was working perfectly.
