You using a mk4 golf TIP? old school.

I have one and the fitment isnt great at all, the end needs to be trimmed a few mm's and theres an extra port that needs to be blanked off.

Any reason why you've gone for a samco tip and not a forge one?

I would PM you back but it might be good for other people searching.

The connection to the turbo needs trimming by a few mm, thats all.

I have the mk4 samco tip and its a pretty bad fit so i suggest goin for the forge one.

I have the mk4 tip too, i actually prefer the design so the dv sits a bit more forward, mine says forge samco sport on it though so whats the difference?

Designs may look better at the DV but it's actually worse for the car, air gets blown back past the MAF and can cause stalling problems, you may want to look at something like a Jabba heat shielf which moved the MAF further away.

fair point, does it sit the same on a mk4 golf though, what im asking is that if the maf is the same distance from the dv on a mk4 whats the difference between that setup and mine?
