the discs rust so quickly due to the amount of carbon in the steel, ok it may look a little unsightly after rain/washing, but it does give increased breaking performance. I know i'd choose a little rust over poorer performance.

carbon doesnt rust, iron does.

yep your right, i knew it was summut like that. im not a car techie, just obsessed with stopping the squeaks and rattles

please, please, please, do not spray lubricant onto your brake components.

you may find it has an adverse affect on their effectiveness.
