Just driven my LCR from Le Harve in France, to Lucerne in Switzerland, and then onto Lake Garda in Italy ,then to Venice- then to Pizza -then to Portofino -then to Monaco -then to Le Harve.-Did the last stage in one hit via Paris -couldnt find hotel that was empty mid week so just kept on going-
14.5 hours later fell asleep at side of road in Le Harve.
Total mileage was 2980 and about £250 worth of fuel- Car went really well and didnt see another LCR throughout trip.
By the way - The Italians loved the car- dont think it was ever imported to Italy but everywhere we went they were all over it -pointing and poking at the Brembo's even got some comments and looks outside the Ferrari museum in Maranello -etc.
Bit Outclassed in Monaco by the assortment of the various Ferrari's,Porshce's,Astons and Bentley's outside the Casino but a chap outside a hotel in a grey suit (valet Parking Attendant-I think) Did take his hat of to salute us ..LOL ..
Ps the tunnel in Monaco -didnt sound quite the same as as on F1 weekends.

Yeah it was fun,and the roads were somthing else -especially the Italian Riviera-with the winding coast roads and the views were stunning- but it really put it into perspective how good the the LCR is at being a long distance cruiser-on the Autostrada's just gobbled up the miles - had a little tustle with a British Ferrari 360 comming out of Marseille France- Kept catching him up at the Toll Booths- Only because his girlfriend / Wife ? couldnt reach the ticket - he couldnt get close enough to the ticket mahine cause of the shape of the Ferrrari and she took 3 attempts to grab the toll ticket -3rd time he must have been holding on to her legs....then he waved and let rip... sound was awsome as he pulled away- needless to say that was the last we saw of them.

 wow! sounds like an amazing trip!

Some really nice photos too! Did I spot Lake Como in the middle? Looks really nice, and Venice is fascinating any time of the year!

Have you had much experience of driving around Europe before? Do not know how I would manage to complete such an expedition without a few classic arguments over the map! :roflmao:

SAT NAV mate, wouldnt have been so easy a few years ago as you suggested would have caused major arguments...lol.......but then again when the sat nav tried to take me down a tiny cobbled lane I did question it ...and then 20 meters later had to fold mirrors in to fit through an archway .....then a guy on a moped franticly waving his arms around trying to tell me to turn around ..which by then it was too narrow ..so had to reverse all the way back........It had its moments..
