anyone on here replaced there roof top ariel and if so does anyone have pics and maybe a guide on how to do this any help hugely appriciated

the whole arial is only bout 20 or 30 qiud ive jus replaced my one all you have to do is drop the back of your headlining and undo the big nut on the inside

why would u want to replace the whole thing, stubby ariels look mint, i love it between 12-20quid depending on wot u get

can make mine out there, mines an enfig s2000 though and didnt need any trimming, apparantly not exactly the same as a civic one or a regular s2000 one, but basically

because VAG ariel's are shite for radio reception and its very easy to replace

Just bought a "Honda" Aerial off fleabay, tried to fit it to my Ibiza, and it dont fit mister, so i trimmed it a bit, and it still dont fit. The Screw is a different thread. A waste of £6.99

Ive just bought a s2000 one aswell but when i try take the standard ariel off ive unscrewed it then it folds down but i cant get past that. Do you just pull it off when its fully unscrewed??? Im just scared to brake the thing.

Yes, uve got to pull it hard. I know it doesnt feel right, but two hands and give it a good hard pull.

Did you buy it off ebay, if so post the link. i will check where i bought mine from.
