Roof racks?

Has anybody bought a Seat roof rack for there mk3?

I need a roof rack to carry my Mountain bike and snow board weekly and was wondering if anybody had one or has any pictures and prices?

Halfolds do the truel roof racks but i'd prefer the geniue artical from seat.

trust me mate, the thule roof racks are excellent quality! Would have no problems sticking one on the top of my car! Go and check out the quality for yourself

thule make racks for most of the manufactueres anyway.

i am pretty sure BMW use thule

i suppose the upside is the amount of accessaries assioated with the thule systems e.g. racks ect...

Are you speaking from experience or have you seen them in Halfords?
I have seen the Quality and agree that it looks the business, but what i haven't seen is a seat roof rack on a mk3 or thule on a mark 3, hence me asking for a photo! i think the thule maybe generic (i don't particulary want the bars over hanging like you see on some cheapsters.

No im speaking from experience, I used to work for halfords for 4 years up until recently, Halfords even use the earlier thule designed kit (they've not long had a rangewide re-design) as their own branded equipment. Thule equipment is modular, you'll normally have to purchase 3 peices of kit to make a complete roofrack, 1. being the correct width bars (they make approx 4 different widths), 2 the footpack and 3. the vehicle specific fitting kit

Customers VERY RARELY brought thule equipment back either as faulty or just for a general refund. Customer service and backup is also excellent, they'll generally supply lost or spare part replacements via a next day service.
