Ok guy`s, a fantastic day all round as I`m sure you`ll agree and a good turn out. Got off to an iffy start but that`s another thread!

Mostly happy people and some not so happy but people should realise it was 92 degrees in there today so this does really need to be taken into consideration, so here we go with the results................

Yeah..... wonder what gear they did it in.... I think the closest 1:1 drive on the LCR is 5th, so if they did it in 3rd, it will be lower torque measured

Well i won the result for the most dissapointed, it was runing 5th gear, will post my graph up soon as.

Might need to spend some time finding out if there is a problem,

Possible answers: Millers Octane Booster about an hour before ? New Cold Air feed to the fog light ?

Empi 5...... May be the sign of clutch slipping if its not putting the power down properly?

Does it rise through 5th from low down all the way through to the red line with no problems on the road?

I would have expected 280-285/300-310lbft from you. Bens bhp is good but where is his torque gone?

It was hot i will say that.

All LCR's tested in 5th.

JetSet and mine both 210 versions but mine was low due to only running 11psi boost ????
Need some serious help guys if poss??
I do know it could be the FMIC (too large) have been advised to get remapped and turn boost up and should sort it, does this sound right???

I should be running 17psi I think shouldn't I??

when you fitted your fmic, did you do any logging to make sure there wasn't a huge pressure drop?

Running a FMIC without a remap does seem to be an unusual move? Especially as the standard twin IC set up copes quite well with power increases.

1bar =14.5psi

210 is 0.7bar (10psi)
225 is 0.8bar (12psi)

Remap =1.5bar (21-22psi)

Where has 17psi come from bhp addict?

Your torque figure is spot on for a standard car, your just slightly underpowered by about 10bhp! may be down to fitting a giant whopping intercooler on the front without adjusting timing or fuelling, ie remap!

The torque figures on the LCR's was nothing short of a joke really..[:@] Mine was RR'd at JBS at 293lb/ft (Not NM) last year and if anything, feels stronger torque wise now, than it did then.. But for some reason i'm only about 14lb'ft above STANDARD.. And I don't need to tell you lot what the torque on a remapped LCR is like compared to standard...;) There's just something not right.. I mean mine is about 9lb/ft less than a standard Megane 225 FFS [:@] ..
Just doesn't add up.. BHP wise though, i'm well happy (especially as in 33oC temps) and was 3rd most powerfull of the hatchbacks (FWD).. Plus the 2 that beat me, were somewhat slightly modded FRS'S.. Me just with Revo stage 1 and nowt else...:D
But apart from that, was a good day and nice bunch of lads who I met.. Especially Phil and Jetset.. But more importantly, a big thanks to Shins for organising a cracking day...

torque figures do look a bit dodgy especially yours ben, if you made 273bhp at around 6000rpm that would be 238lb/ft at 6k rpm and thats when most of the torque has trailed off on the K04

Cheers Ben and thanks to you all for representing the LCR, good bunch of lads! Will hopefully be doing one near Christmas time when it`s somewhat cooler, so will be on at some point to pester you all again!;)

Got 17psi from bloke at motor tek.
Rekons remap only adds around 5 psi, if 10-11 psi is right then i havent got any worries.
Not done any logging yet as not had chance but will start to do so when sorted vag com.
once remap sorted than hopefully ok, I did put it down to pressure drop but the figures for the i/cooler state around 0.5psi, I'll see how it goes once mapped then.

Heres my graph, some of the guys who were watching my run, said the Car slipped , but the tuner didnt notice anything, there was definitly a strange jolt during the run.

What i thought was strange, was that the first fella with the Focus RS, got a really low figure on his 1st run, they did it again and that came out spot on. Hmmm
