Done the n249 bypass today with blue silicone and here is the engine as it stands today

Going to sort out a TIP and some other pipes and a 80mm jetex filter with heatshield and a 80-70 reducer to fit it to my cupra maf

aswel as a nomad gauge pod!

and maybe a 3" downpipe and decat then a cobra system

Fitted some new pipes on the engine bay today will post up some pics tomorrow!!

Also hoping my nomad gauge pod will be here Friday as there have been some issues with my card as their system kept declining it lol

Thanks, not quiet finished with the inlet yet but I used different grades of wet and dry ranging from 260 up to 1000 or 1200 so starting rough and then getting finer then give it a polish with some metal polish

The bypass is supposed to help hold boost a little better and stronger didn't seem to make much difference to me but that may be due to my split PCV pipe that I'm waiting to replace

All fitted... Just need to get the heat shield now, also I have got a battery cover to pick up was fed up bidding so got a new one from seat for £11.57 lol

Got myself a new battery cover from the stealers £11.86 new

And today I got new glove box handle and mech not so cheap, £34.40!

This is what the previous owner had done, they found how t use super glue!

Thought I would add a little update, I got the cover yesterday for the loom in the engine bay and I put the relays inside with the loom too

Will get some pics soon of the bay, At the moment I'm just trying to make the bay area look nice and clean
