RNS510 Pin number

I recently bought the RNS510 and fitted it, when i switched it on i was asked for a pin(which i dont have) I read some posts and decided to try reseting it by pressing the left and right arrows and the fone symbol next to the CD/DVD drive the RNS510 restarted, the radio went on for 2 seconds and the cut of and it asked for my pin again It says i have 2 attempts left does any1 know what will happen if i use both attempts unsuccessfully? or have any ideas about what to do?

got it from a guy on here, he says he dosent have the pin

erm, im pretty sure you need the code to use it.

Tryed entering a random number this morning and it worked anyway problem solved thnx for ur help anyway

I didn't get a code with mine either, very occasionaly asks for a number I just reset it and its fine...

Yeah mines asks me for a code probly once a month maybe less. I just reset it and its all ok.

I was told by the guy i bought it off, that i didnt need a code, i just had to do a wiring mod at the back, although after doing that mod, it still asks for a code.

Resetting it fixes the issues, but deletes SOME (not all) of my stored mp3s on the drive..which is annoying and it takes sooooooooooooooo long to tranfer the songs lol.

Yea i tryed reseting mine but same thing happened just asked for the code again, so i gave in and just typed 4 numbers and it worked somehow, im not complaining tho
