Ridiculously annoying squeak

Whenever I depress or release the acceerator I get a squeaking noise. This only happens when I am pulling away and changing from 1st to 2nd, not when the ignition if switched off and I depress the pedal. I'm not sure if it happens whne I'm going faster because of all the road noise, but its really really annoying me!
Does anyone have any ideas about what it could be?

Im having exactly the same noise! My motor is in for a service today and mentioned about the noise which they will look into! My thoughts are some type of rubber pipe that is rubbbing on somepart of the engine, probably around the bulkhead area, due to hearing ther noise, it only happens when you put the engine under load with a blip of the throttle, but i agree its a tad annoyin!
I'll let you know the outcome if any

got the car back,the noise was the bottom engine mount! needs replacing! Apprantley a common problem on this model.Didnt have it done because i wanted to source an uprated one, due to having a remap shortly.

So looks like you need it changing like me!

Does anyone know of any other transmission to bulkhead engine mounts on the market? ive seen these ones at EIP tuning.com designed for the MK4 golfs, looks a nice bit of kit but abit pricey! and they do fit on the ibiza apparently!

Also ive seen forge do a bush kit for the dog bone type mount, http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=1703MISC&product=FMPFF85-420
will that fit on the ibiza?
