Good day all ,

while i am in my 1.3 ibiza it runs well on 1st gear .
being on 2nd gear it will act like this , a kick on the pedal will kick the REV meter to 3 or 4 k and it's true reading coz i can hear the engine reving . while the car is moving on same speed. sustaining the pedal down will lead to decrease in revs , and then it works normally .

this happens in 3rd and 4th as well . i cant run with my car as u can see . u know guys the fun part of it is that kick on the pedal of a VW engine .

would it be the clutch set ? i never had a problem like this , i always thought once engine is on a gear , increase in REV means increase in speed !

any clue ?

do the slip test.. although it obviously is..

in 4th at around 30-40 so low revs, put the clutch down and rev rite up towards the red line.. drop the clutch

if the revs stay high.. its slippin.. if they drop suddenly and ur car jolts forwards.. its fine:D

ok guys tried it and outcomes are below,

doing 80 km/h REV reading 3K on 4th , i pressed the gas pedal totally while clutch is down also , rev to 6~7 K , then releasing clutch will make REV to dramatically drop back to 3K , but the car is not accelerating or (jumping) like i thought it will once i release clutch .

so ?
