Hi there, has anyone retro fitted leather seats into their Leon?

I’ve bought a new leather interior, but it’s heated and I wondered if anyone has fitted the same and wired up the heated part of the seat. I’m hoeing it’s not a big job…

Hope that all makes sense.

There is a far easier and far cheaper option ......not integrated with the car's canbus but works a treat.

I bought a universal heated seat kit from ebay, and have powered it direct from the main batery feed to the fusebox, via a switched ignition feed taken from the fuse position used for heated seats from the factory. I've used this method on 3 Octavias, 2 Leons and my Toledo, and have not had any issues whatsoever with any of these installations. The seat switches are mounted on the seats themselves, so no butchering of the dashboard or console, and no need to go to the expense of changing the heater panel.

Have a look at these threads of my Leon and Toledo installs:

Toledo install

Leon install
