Been looking at new wiper blades for my 04 R, I was thinking of trying the bosch retro fit aerotwins, but am not 100% sure on the size. Having measured they are 21inch and 18 or 19inch, I always thought 18 was better but the websites are all saying 21/19.

So a little confused as to what would be best.

Thanks

So what's the standard blade size for Leon?
I want to fit aero wiper arms from Golf 4 and as we know passenger aero blade from golf is little bit longer for us?
What should be the right size for Leon with golf aero wiper arms fitted?

So Golfs are 21/20 ?

Strange because everywhere they say Golfs are 21/19 and if so Leons should be shorter than 19..?

i got myself a set of 20/19, the end of the passenger doesnt sit flush when fully down, but when they work there is no problems :)

They were a fantastic addition. I expect 21/18 would be fine aswell

Other threads on this guys. Passenger blade(if fitting Golf Aero arms) is too long. Drivers 21" passenger needs about 1" cut off to allow blade to sit right down,or cut windscreen trim(as LEE 69 has done). I am aware there is a company supplies 18" and 17" versions which fit the Golf Aero connection, but yet to see one fitted.

The 18" or 19" or 17" is not the important part of this !!
I have just received a set of the Golf Mk4 Aero arms & blades and have measured the length & pivot point the distance from fixing pin/pivot to r/h/s of passenger blade on the standard Golf 19" blade is only 8 1/4" so obviously not centred,so unless smaller blades are off centred, this would not really solve problem.
I shall try and find out if the 18 & 17" blades are off or dead centre fitting.

The golfs don't have the side trim on the windscreen like the Leons do.
