Results of rolling road test before and after remap (title changed)

Hey guys,
i got my pd130 ibiza remapped by OBD Autotune in Ballymeana N.Ire on thursday of this week, cant believe the difference it has made to the car totally different to drive money well invested imo!! Anyway just thought id throw up the results here, got a dyno run before the remap to see what the car was standard and it came out with amazing results 155.3bhp and 273.8 lbs of torque (the top readings OBD had ever had for a pd130) the remap was just a stage 1 and decided to keep the torque to a min as i don fancy a new clutch just yet!! So the new figures are 175.4bhp and 310.4 lbs of torque, not a massive jump in readings i know but the way the remap has spread the power throughout the car just makes it even more fun to drive than before.

I know you think it's yellow ibiza's that at doing that but the truth is that most of them all are more powerful than stated. Same for most volkswagens. I remember reading somewhere that they under state them to keep insurance groups down

Yes i truly believe the colour makes it faster!! I know most of them come out slightly mor than the factory states, but some also come out with alot less. I just wasnt expectin an 8 year old ibiza to be up around that mark for having nothing previous done to it is all and also that most cars are only over the factory amount by roughly 10-15 so thought an extra 25bhp was quite good.

Well mate it aint my fault if you dont know when a bit of banter is going on, reason i put this thread up was to let other people know what my car got on a dyno run before i got it remapped and to see if anyone else got a similar result if they done the same!! As for my thread being a waste of time thats your opinion, but i didnt ask you to read or comment on it and im also sure that my thread wont be the last either that doesnt meet your "standard" as i know ive read some pointless ones on here myslf.

dyno lottery im sure another dyno could have shown you less or even more than the results you got dont get to giddy over figures shown on dynos.

So in conclusion my yellow ibiza standard has set the benchmark for pd130 engines to follow and prooves that yellow ones are the fastest ;-)

Jesus heaven forbid anyone who doesnt seem to be a regular on here post up a thread, f**k me ignore the stuff about the colour of my car that was put up as a JOKE something alot of yous dont seem to understand!!
And yes i know dynos are not 100% accurate with their results but they are often pretty close in regards to the readings you obain from them

funny thread this,can i put a word in for the obnoxious blue ibiza brigade??.

never had mine dynod but always though it seemed real fast for 130bhp but put it down too big engine in small car but maybe it was producing more like what you have got bhp wise

agree with what you said about the remap,the increased spread of power and torque makes it so much more enjoyable too drive.

Bald_eagle yeah maybe you did have, its funny my dad always said to me that my car wasnt 130bhp and had been tweaked i some way or was up on power turns out he was correct lol!! But yeah the spread of power makes its so much better to drive and jus doesnt lose that wee bit of poke when you change gears now either

Platinum grey paint doesn't have any colour in it, therefore it's lighter, and the car is faster.

If that's the case with that then, white isn't even class as a colour therefore it is mucho lighter and streamlined!

On a more serious note, Autotune are decent blokes, Stephen is a top fella and always good for the banter, remapped my old Ibiza to 141bhp from 100. Very happy indeed.

Yes they all seemed top class up there at autotune and mad as bloody hatters lol
