hi.

i'm sorry if this has been answered before but the threads ive seen are for ibiza's..
i have just got a flip key for my 02 leon. my blip key is 433mhz and new one is 434mhz, now according to threads the flip key will work with my car.
i have looked in the manual, followed it on there but can't get it to work after numerous attempts.
looked on here found a few answers but they dont work either.
i must be doing something wrong..
can some one tell me how to do this in laymens terms please.

manual goes on about blip key and manual key.
i want to have 2 blip/flip keys..
is the problem the freq...ie 1 being 433 and the other 434mhz..
i assume they cant work together..?
and does that mean i need another flip key working on 434mhz and ditch the 433mhz key?

i'm hoping that i can use both my radio keys?

ok so after a bit more searching and alot of reading... found one that works.
bloody user guide is crap. this site rocks... :)
but i have a small problem with the auto window close.
when i lock the car now it doesn't go up automatic.
it goes up if i press and hold lock but i think with only the original blip key not with the new flip key.
any ideas people... or does this mean i have to get a new kvw100 auto window unit again?
also if i need the new unit, will it work with both flip and blip keys or only the key that is in the ignition at the time?

thanks mick

The way I read it and note I have not tried :)

Is that the KVW100 once used is coded to your car, however it can be kept to recode to the key. I think whichever key is put into the ignition at the time of installation is the one that works. If you now have a new flip key then place this one into the ignition and follow the instructions again. It should then work with your new key.

This may then not work with your old key then until you install again.
