Replacing MAF's

Right, now i know i should have bought a proper bosch MAF but i thought i would give these guys a try as i suspected mine was dying:

Few days later i got it through the post and fitted it. not long after that i bought a laptop and ran some logs with vagcom and was only getting 120g/s (i have revo stage 1). so i re-fitted my original MAF and hey presto i get 151g/s, which i think is right for my car, yes?

The new MAF i bought came with a warranty so i soon had it replaced, re-fitted, and logged again, only to be faced with 130 g/s.

I am just about to put back on my original MAF again and re-check that before i go and complain to the company. should the car need time to get used to a new MAF or not? or is it purely an inferior unit to the Bosch ones?

Just thought i'd ask on here for advice before going any further, also if all these MAF's are the same then to avoid them!
