Replacing Front Bushes

Hi there
im hoping someone can help me.

the front bushes needed replaced on my 1.2 ibiza and thought it was a job i could do myself.
i got the old bushes out but cant get the new ones in, they seem to be expanding as i try and get them in and im worried i might break them, is there a special way or a special tool to get these in?

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Normaly you need a hydrolic press I think, but you can use a bolt with two large washers on each end, with one on the bush and the other the other side of the hole your trying to get it in, then just tighten the bolt carfuly. If you do a search, im sure someone on here did a guide on changing them.

I would also make sure you have plenty on rubber grease to help them in. I have heard you can do them with a g-clamp - but garages always do them with a press
