This may have been posted before? When I was looking for a used Leon Cupra, I found that on most of the cars I looked at the internal door trim were often badly scratched or the rubberised coating had started to peel. :(

Replacements are available from SEAT, part number 1M0867197B40N at only £13.61+VAT each :) They simply click off (with a little help from a screwdriver) and the new ones fitted in a couple of mins.

just thought I'd share that with you :D

My drivers side one is in a real state..hardly any rubber left at all...60k miles

Where do you prize them off?

you can see the join line at the top, the whole front comes away with a bit of persuasion :)

I read somewhere that the early models had a coating on the door trim that was discontinued after 2002 as it was easily scratched with wedding rings etc.

When I got my 99 Toledo, it had awful interior door trims. I got 4 new ones from seat-leon.de
So for those members living in mainland europe, its an alternative to dealer prices.
They also sell the double DIN console and fascia for future reference.
