OK:

Green
K&N
Pipercross
BMC

Anyone got any input as to the relative merits of each?

Green and K&N seem to be around £40-£50 delivered, BMC just over £40 & Pipercross just over £30.

I appreciate that you shouldn't scrimp on filtration media, but is it worth the extra £15-20 for a Green or a K&N?

Edit: added BMC

i have a pipercross, granted its not a replacement filter but none the less it does work obviously, but if you leave mine a year you can see where some dirt has come through the filter onto the base plate and onto the components of the carb.
not too much of a problem just thought id mention it

There's no F in Quality..
Try Jetex to ;)

To be honest, there's a debate over whether a using an 'uprated' panel filter actually improves anything or not....

In my book, a replacement filter can be cleaned an reused many times, so will pay itself back in a couple of years anyway!!

You will find that the mojority of them are the same to maintain.
Green Cotton is the one we sell as they dont seem to be as oily than others.
