Ok so I have a LCR and I have been having problems with the dials ticking both revs and speed and sort of sticking too, due to me not being able to source somebody to repair these I am thinking of buying a set of second hand clocks. On doing this I have a couple of questions for anyone in the know. The mileage I believe can be changed with a computer and the correct software and lead, but I know some cars store the immobilizer info and other stuff in the clocks. Are the clocks for these cars plug and go and everything works except the mileage is incorrect or do you need to program the new clocks into the car match keys etc etc Thanks for any help in advance.

No they will need synchronising with the car, i think the full version of vagcom can do it, but you will need the SKC number to access the immobiliser part of the car.

^^^ says it all above

The mileage will stay on whatever was shown on the clocks ie the new clocks.

I took mine to seat and got them to decode it. If you can take out and replace the clocks yourself it will save them time and you money
