Replacement Gear Knob for LCR

I would like to change my standard Gear Knob for a Genuine Seat Sport Replacement. I know these cost around £80 for an LCR. I have been told that an Altea knob is identical but only cost around £60 and the fitment is the same. Can anyone confirm or deny this

many thanks

Seat sport do about 5 different designs all the same shape, leather and Aluminium, all aluminium etc sounds like RiKH just has a different finish.

Aren;t all the Seat Sport ones the same? whether it's Leon or Altea......I thought the only difference was the gaitor

They are the same but SEAT think LCR owners have more money and charge more for the Leon versions. As the part numbers are different.

AndyBuzz you do need to specify exactly what type you want. Just be specific and ask one of the dealers on here for a 10% discount. They should be honest and tell you if an Altea one is the same fitment.

My 5 speed one was £79 inclusive of discount and postage (Part Ref: 6L0064325A ) - but I ordered for the Toledo/Leon without realising another model may be cheaper. Lots of people ridicule the price but I have to say they do look good. Non close up pics as originally taken to show custom footrests, but I have to say the half leather/alu looks the mutts:

they will tell you though that you have no comeback if you order the altea on as its not listed for the leon-which is fair enough

yes i also found it a nightmare to get the gator to clip around the new g/knob, managed with a bit of persuasion

Where did you get your dead pedals from and how much were they?.

I made them myself but unfortunately I'm not really up for making any others. I have a left hand dead pedal plate floating around somewhere for a later model Leon/Toledo (mine tapers to a point whereas later ones form an 'S' and protrude more into the footwell - unfortunately I didn't realise this when I ordered mine). The guy I got it off has stopped making them as well. I could sell you the left at cost but you would have to make your own right.

I'd have to check but I'm sure the LCR one also tapers to a point and would need to be the same as yours, sorry :(

Someone else may be up for buying it though :)
