Removing Bump Strips

Mate you need to take the bumper off and then take the strip off.

1) Take all the torque screws off around inner arches and under bumper.

2) Take plastic trim off from around the inside of the boot I advise to take the speaker part out first.

3) Once all plastic removed there are two bolts/screws at either end of the bumper which need to be removed from the inside ( Just below the lights)

4) Now your ready to ease the bumper off (start from the arches to lossen them up first)

5) Also don't forget to either discounect the number plate lights or take them out!

6) When putting the bumper back on the side parts need to slide in between some sort of grove so align these up first!!

Hope this helps.

Mission then.

Will the bumper be ok to drive round with the rear bump strips missing or does it need to be there for the number plate lights?

I wanna get them sprayed.

Can you not just let your friend have the bumper and put your number plate in the back window?

Just try and avoid driving at night, or if you do and get pulled just play dumb  and the worst they can do is give you a producer as long as your plate is visable surley?!

How black are the low spec ones?

I wanted mine doing black to match my wheels.
