remove plastic surround from cigarette lighter

I've just got my new ibiza 09 1.4 and was wondering how I remove the bit of plastic surrounding the lighter plug reason why I want to put a usb port in there for charging as mine doesn't have it as an extra, not to hook up to the radio just one of those lighter to usb adapters but for it to be permanently installed thanks

It should just pull out, get a finger in and pull our get a trim tool to remove it

You need to remove the lighter socket to remove the surrounding
