remote wire issues!

Ive just put in a new amp, but i havent remembered to run a remote wire from my head unit to the amp in the boot. Will the amp not power up without it? Is there any way of tricking the amp to be on all the time? The power that feeds it is switchable.

have had problem before and ended up running a lead from the head unit.

Should of gotten a phono cable with a built in amp switch wire. makes the job much easier and also means you don't forget to wire it in

You can wire it on all the time, just connect the remote wire via a fuse to +12V. I wouldnt recommend it as your battery will go flat in no time!
