Remote locking key

hi all,

im new to the site as i have just purchased my first seat. 1.8 20 vt

must say to start with that i am loving this car. its great.

as you all know, when we bought the car we only got one remote key (the girlfriend uses the spare). We have bought a new remote key on ebay, and had the key from the spare key put into the remote key.

Does anyone know how to programme the remote part of the key to get it to work with my car.

look forward to maybe getting some helpfull hints.

Take it to a stealers? Or perhaps one of the key cutting shops that does car keys.

you need vag com to do it or a stealer
