Is that the one in the forecourt of petchies or a brand new un? I had a sit in the one at petchies so i had an idea what the interior and driving postion was like. Thinking about getting mine chipped but cant find anywhere up here to do it. Getting a air filter on this weekend though:yes: painting the calipers red awell.

Hmm I never knew that, I thought my nearest was Leeds?

Good news if there is one in Blaydon though, was considering getting a remap once my cars fixed :D

if you live up in scotland go to drivers in glasgow, they give you a free trail of the revo upgrade for 5 hours, so at least you know whether its worth the extra cash on insurance/petrol etc

ps. i would definately tell the insurance, why bother risking invalidating your insurance?

How would they know?

They are not going to get in it and say oooooooooooh.....................well.....................I reckon..................this...............is.............remapped! Would it not be your word against theirs! I'm sure they won't say, we'll get a seat ibiza that is standard and we will compare them and see which is faster! Infact lets have a drag race! :p Or take a diagnostic kit with them! :p

I haven't heard of this happening before!

If you binned it, they would be able to tell. There are a load of checks they do when there are insurance claims, and if this was one you could say bye bye to your £10k car and any chance of getting anything back.

we get highly modded cars in where i work and they arent covered but we still carry out the repairs and the estimators where i work sure as fook dont even know how to use a diagnostics kit not saying you shouldnt tell the insurance as if you unfortunatly killed some1 ect it would be alot more serious and the car would be stripped and investigated by the police

revo is a diffrent story as it can be switched on and off with a button! and is completly undetectable unless the switch is visible!

If I didnt tell the insurance company then I wouldnt tell anyone on here either. The world wide web is a broadcast for such things,

It would have to be top secret!
