Wouldn't recommend non-disclosure - it's perfectly possible to detect a remap without driving the car if you know what you're doing and have the right kit. If the insurance company finds out - you're not insured - simple as

yep never heard of anyone ever having a remap check. Plus if he got revo he could flick it back, anyway his choice to disclose I suppose, its a risk but I dont see it as too big of a one

Try flipping the car back to standard whilst being cut out of the car unconcious or lying up in a hospital bed - yes you can flip back to standard, but only if you're in a fit state to do so - not at all worth the risk IMO.

what I was saying the chances of them checking the car are next to none anyway, then with that revo thing if the car is in a state to check then you will more than likely be able to flick it back. Its a very very slim chance that if you are hurt badly the car would be checkable, and its even more of slim chance that they would check it anyway thats my opinion on it, but Im sure some people will pay and some wont.

If your car looks standard which mine does, then I think there is a lot less chance they are going to check. And i cant see an assesor bringing out a lap top with him if the car is smashed to pieces:)

Its your risk at the end of the day:shrug:
