I've recently had my LCR remapped by a reputable tuner (one of the sponsers), it produced very good figures on the RR, but I am having problems with boost "spikes".

When I floor it at low revs in any gear (most noticeable in 6th due to the time taken to spool) the boost spikes up to 26-28psi for fractions of a second before dropping to 22psi and then gradually fading to 16psi ish at the red line.

I figure this initial spike is going to damage my turbo in the long run, and am trying to source the cause of the spike. I have tried a new N75 (F variety) which has made no difference, and am at a loss as to what to try next.

I have tried the car with the N249 bypassed and without - same problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Have you mentioned this to your remapper?
Prehaps this is what the mapper thought you wanted as numbers make smiles.
As you said this will not be healthy for you whole system and this should be able to be sorted by your mapper.
