REMAP vs RESALE

I have a '51 plate Ibiza 110 tdi sport with 85k on the clock and am looking at the Upsolute Remap.
However i am only planning on keeping it for a couple of years and am worried about the re-sale value being affected by the remap, would you pay more or less for a mapped car or look for an original example to do yourself, any advice appreciated.

In a couple of years a 51 plate Ibiza is going to be worth next to nothing anyway - I wouldn't even consider it as a problem.

Currently with 85k, easily north of 100k in two years.... it'll easily be worth less than half what its cost now? which I'd guess is £2500 tops

a remap won't make it less valuable, if anything it would increase the value. i would prefer to buy a car that's already been remapped, as long as the remap was done by a good company.
