Hi people, just a quickie

In the summer im planning a fairly large road trip around Europe, approx 3000miles over 9 days, but problem is i really want my cupra remapped, however i just wondered what people with remapped cupras are getting mpg when driven sensibly as i dnt want to get the remap and rinse extra fuel as its going to cost a fair bit anyway, im currently seeing 34mpg and i have fmic, air filter etc, does it really improve mpg like it says it does??

cheers

be roughly the same, mine was ever so slightly better when taking it easy, but its worse with your foot down.

sounds like a good trip though :D

lucky you.. my average was about 29. is now 25 after stage 2 remap ko3s etc..
But i've only just had it remapped so was given some stick at weekend. should go up abit. So not really much difference.

p.s i do often short journeys in the mornin so mpg will be lower than normal.

Yeh im going stage 2 this month so will be interesting to see what i get. With current mods and alot ot town driving it get between 25-28mpg. But do short trips aswell and that really hurts the mpg, car runs on choke and doesnt get the chance to warm up properly:cry:
