i have a very wierd one for u.

story goes... we have two ibiza's. one remapped one not. (this is all made up not real by the way)

the guy with out a remap wants to have a remap and wonders is there a cheap way to do it ;)

now what would i need to copy the remap from one car to another. i know performance torque take off the original seat map and save it before uploading the new one. so u must be able to copy a remapped one and rewrite a car as u wish.

i am guessin a vagcom lead wont allow u to do this but what would u need. i dont see it costing much lol

dont kill me its just i like to think outside the box lol

think you need a laptop and whole lot of know how or it could all end in tears.
to be honest i don't think it can be done as i would suspect the code is encrypted, then again i might be wrong.

You can do it, you need other stuff too (byteshooter etc)

otherwise you could easily end up with a useless ECU

buying software off ebay is retarded though. you plug your knocked off software into the £700 'box' which could render is useless
So then it'll have cost you £770, and you'll still have got nowhere.

Given that maps start at £250, it's a false economy
