Remap Help - I've reached a dead end

Hi everyone...

I'm looking for a remap for my Leon, but I have the following requirements:

- Must be "Reversible" - i.e. i need some kind of control box or PC link + Software.
- I dont need any security bits
- Must be upgradeable in future for when I upgrade fuel system/turbo etc..

BUT:

- I live in saudi arabia, no remap companies here
- My car is under warranty so emphasis on first point above

I found that Revo and APR have a fitting solution for me, but they only sell through distributors, I dont know where the nearest APR is and the nearest Revo is Istanbul, Turkey.

Any ideas?

I have AMD OneClick which allows you to map/unmap the car whenever you want. AMD do a "generic map" so I don't know if they could mail it to you? (I'm not sure what else is involved in the original mapping process) It's tied to your cars chassis number.

As for adapting to new turbo's etc, I would think you need a completely standalone ecu which cost a fortune and will void your warranty.

Take your ECU out
Post it to REVO in the UK
They Post it back
Reinstall into your car.

Also buy an SPS3 switch to trim boost and timing settings yourself

(To get the code removed post it to the UK again and it will be reflashed to stock)

yeah, shipping to and from UK will take minimum 3-4 days, cost 100 pounds each way - too much ... plus my car is a daily driver ... i need it to get to work everyday ... and customs here are very bad, they might confiscate the ECU just because they dont know what it is

anyway i just emailed AMD so i'll wait for their answer

AmD seem the best solution but I found that there is a company in Dubai that do rolling road remaps. It's a 10 hour drive but i think it would be better after a few other mods ...
