remap and plugs

hi i had my car remaped and guy told me i gota set plugs with feeler gauge to 0.28 to save urself blowing coilpacks. plugs i bought have got 3 nips so wot to i do tap them all thnks

mate you don't need to start a new thread for everything...(same as oil catch tank thread)

you have all these questions in the oil in intake thread already.

You shouldn't use a feeler gauge on modern plugs - you should use a proper plug gapping/adjusting tool.

Most new plugs come set to the correct gap.

agreed with the above.

generally the rule I learnt was that for every 50HP you increase you need 1 degree colder plugs (which will be set correctly)
