So a few conversations at work today got me thinking and I realised how incredibly reliable my 1.4 mk2 is!

Everyone was complaining about one problem or another with their car going wrong, and the couple of lads with corsas had an endless list :D

And I thought, "my car has never broken down once. Nothings ever died on it. I've never had to replace anything in an emergency. It's never been off the road! And it runs great all the time"

How many of my friends can say that about their cars? Not one of them!

So thank you, mark 2 ibiza! For being so reliable.

How reliable is your ibiza?

(I must say, the only problem I've had with it is the winder mechanism. Apart from that, it's been great. But it was still running fine and everything with that!)

Did you ever find out why that was? Like where the water was getting into?

My car's never failed to start :) Except from when I've thought the engine was going and I've let go of the key early!

Damp in the engine bay, it was never a 'Daily Driver' (im out at work in the van five or six days a week ) used to give the bay a good splash of WD occasionally only once did it fail to start, and all I did to get it to start was take off the dizzie cap and dry it.

mine has got to be the bain of my life. all the brakes replaced, still wears down 1 pad faster, some tw*t welded the cat to the centre pipe box, which has now blown, stinks of petrol and runs on after switching it off. hesitates around 4000rpm for a sec when booting it. previous owner has clear coated over the faded paintwork which is now flaking, needs a full respray.

sadly, it has really grown on me though, i just wish i had a better job to fix it more, ha ha
