Refurb?

hi all,

im thinking about refurbing a set of ronals i have which are in white,
has anybody refurbed them before themselves? if so how hard is it to remove the white plastic coating stuff?

any info would be great

i did my alloys before in white and there on my m8s car now and there looking good still

how did you get on rubbing them down? did the old stuff come off ok?

id get it done professionally m8 , i paid 140 in total and the job is mint . i reckon a diy job will set you back about 40-50 in materials and loads of hours labour , and getting a good paint finish in this weather unless you have decent facilities will be very tricky .

yea thats a good point mate, i fink the problem is that i work shifts and have a fair bit of time off and wanted to do something to pass it! lol. looks like back to polishing the car instead. lol
