Well rather than lettting the harsh side effects of man flu defeat me i decided i would get up out of bed and give the leon its first proper wash and wax since ownership....you know, that first wax where you pick up all the niggles youv never noticed on your new pride and joy
2bh im actually really happy with it and the paintwork is well looked after, a machine polish in the summer and one ding removed and il be happy
Gave it a snow foam wash and then tried out some Dodo juice supernatural hybrid which is nice and easy to apply and remove..... aslong as you dont leave it on too long :|

Late 06 FR tdi with btcc kit
39k
All your usual nobs/switches inside that im yet to find a use for!!

Current plans are to keep it sensible so a slight drop and maybe go metallic bronze on the rims as that matte anthracite just looks dirty
Love these low with something dished but iv been low for the last 5 years and im enjoying not having to do speedbumps at 2mph and a 45º angle

Anywayyss

The leon was my excuse for compromising between family car and toy but give it a few weeks and it will be low stretched and struggling on speedbumps more than the last car ;)

Ahh see I don't have to haggle with a misses that wants a family car yet lol, she knows not to interfere haha. I've got a mk1 leon and its recently been lowered on jom's and its quite hard! Apparently these are some of the softer coilovers too! I'd hate some 'better' ones. Those wheels will look good I think, what size are they?

They are 18 x8 and 18x8.5 on the rears! Do alot of carriageway miles and these would need stretch so unsure if they are worth it, maybe a summer thing, for the time being lowered and spacers will do

Went a shade darker over the factory tints! And wrapped the rear quarters, coilovers to be fitted this weekend and spacers being ordered early next week
also decided im not going "sc3n3" with this car, im going to keep it as a nice tidy oem example, few subtle mods and keep it well looked after
