Red Cupra R Belts

Wonder if anyone can help,
Ive just put a set of red cupra r seat belts in my cupra but it seems its brought the Air Bag light on, Ive had my car plugged into Vag.com and it says it cant erase it, Is there any other way a round it, Thanks for reading. Ollie B

well this is what i done when i had a momo steering wheel in my previous car.

If vag com don't clear it disconnecting the battery will do nothing. It'll just come back on. Could you use a resistor>????

how do pre tensioniors work? im not sure if the ibiza even has them, but that would be connected in some way or another if there are

As far as i'm aware VAGCOM can not clear an Air Bag light, this has to be done at a dealership??

If anyone knows any different then i'd like to know as mine has been on for months now after removing the seats to treat the leather.

Was just the same as clearing any other fault, its only when the fault isnt rectifyed does it keep coming back.

yep i've done it as well, just the same as clearing any other fault except you do it in the airbag section

check your + and - from the plugs,

the airbag plug in the seatbelts can put in 2 ways on..

if you put the + and the - from the plug the wrong way the light will always burn

so try other way round
