I will be looking at getting some components (16.5cm) in the near future, dont want to spend more than £100 on them though.

Any recommendations? Any to avoid?

(also I listen to most types of music except hard rock, mainly dance, r n b and hiphop though)

I have the Alpine Type S series, They fit perfectly with the adaptors your'll need, and sound cyrstal clear, I paid £100 for the pair but I believe you may get them cheaper if your shop around. I have them running from an Alpine amplifier. The Type R's are a little better but I didn't think, for what I wanted, the extra £50 was worth it.

Previously had Infinity refrence Comps and they too were brilliant, although The S types do sound better in my opinion.

Listen to a selection if you can, and you get what you pay for. £100 will give you plenty of choice.
